Activities and Annual Events

Sing We Now of Christmas is our annual Christmas Choir Concert held in December. This weekend of music is shared with Faith Lutheran Church in South Beloit with a performance at each church. It is a joyful celebration of the birth of the Christ Child.

Church Picnic: Every summer we host a Church Picnic at a local park. There is food, games, and activities for all ages.

Golf Outing: Our Annual Golf Outing is held on a Sunday afternoon in September at a local course. This is a wonderful time of playing golf, having great fellowship, and sharing a meal after the round.

Diner’s Delight: Diner’s Delight is a ministry of fellowship at Our Savior’s. It is a time for members and friends of Our Savior’s to join together and celebrate the gift of one another. We will have bi-monthly gatherings at either homes or restaurants, and enjoy a night out with both old and new friends. The purpose is not a gourmet meal, but rather a time to have fellowship with one another.

Cathedral Choir and Bell Choir are for High School through Adult. They meet on Thursday evenings for practice. New Song Worship Team helps lead the 11:00 am worship service every week. They rehearse after the service and at other times when needed. This is open to all who like to sing or play instruments. 2011-2012 Choir Schedule

Fall Festival offers a luncheon, white elephant sale, backed goods, and craft items.

Circle Bible Study Meetings consist of small groups of women who meet monthly at different times and in different places to read and study the Word of God and join in a time of fellowship together.

Men’s Group meets at 9:00 am on the first and third Wednesday of each month for fellowship.

Dart Ball and Softball Teams meet throughout the year

W/ELCA is the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. They meet through various programs in the church to offer fellowship, fundraising, and service throughout the congregation and community.

Young at Heart is an adult monthly gathering that meets on the Second Tuesday of every month at 12:00 (noon) for a meal and program in the Fellowship Hall. All area adults are invited to attend.

Boy Scouts meet at Our Savior’s every Tuesday night.

Daisies Girl Scout Troop meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 6:00 p.m. For all girls in kindergarten and first grade. Call Melisa McMahon at 608-295-4827.
