ALPHA is a fifteen session program which runs over ten weeks to provide a practical
introduction to the Christian faith. Alpha includes dinner, a teaching
time, and small group discussion. It offers the opportunity to explore
the meaning of life. We meet for ten consecutive weeks. We will start with
a Celebration Dinner on a Sunday night and then meet on Tuesday nights
in the Fellowship Hall and one weekend retreat. These sessions will include
dinner, a brief worship service, Bible Study, and Small Group Time.

The Present Future by Reggie McNeal
We live in a world where people keep asking questions; searching
for purpose and meaning in their lives. The question is: how can
the church be a part of these conversations. In the Present Future
class we are offering this fall, we will be looking at ways that
we can be a part of these conversations, reaching out with the love
of Christ. We will be asking how we can honor our tradition while
looking forward to the future, all the time reaching out to those
who have questions. In this ten-week dvd course, hear best-selling
author Reggie McNeal talk about the life of the Christian in the
modern day. |

Blessing Groups
We will be starting Blessing Groups here at Our
Savior's Lutheran Church. These Blessing Groups are an opportunity
for us
to share
blessings we’ve received, to share stories of moments we’ve
seen God at work in our lives, and to learn the practice of reaching
out and blessing others. If you are interested in joining one of
these Blessing Groups, please contact Pastor Erik or Chrissy at the
church office. |
|
| Other
Education Opportunities occur throughout the year with the goal
of helping people grow in their lives of faith. We offer Prayer
Week classes and worship experiences, Occasional sermon series,
and periodic classes that help us learn more about God and how
he is active in the world. |
