This
week's lessons, with devotions and reflections
Worship is central to who we are. We gather as people who have made mistakes, who are not perfect, who are in need of love, care, and support. As this broken body we meet with one another and experience the blessings of God in our lives and in community. Our Savior's Lutheran Church knows that people are wired differently, and we have a variety of services to reach a variety of people.
Saturday night at 5:00 pm we have an informal worship service held in our Commons (the large gathering area directly off of the parking lot). This service is informal in dress as well as in worship style. We mainly use a liturgy called “Now the Feast and Celebration.”
On Sunday morning we have three worship services. At 8:00 am we have our traditional service. This service uses a traditional Lutheran liturgy which is found in our hymnal.
At 9:30 am we have a worship service that overlaps with Kid’s Kingdom Sunday School. This service follows the “Now the Feast and Celebration” liturgy and contains a children’s sermon, which is done directly before the children go to Sunday School.
At 11:00 am we have our New Song Service. This is a contemporary service where we have a praise band to help lead the worship music and much of the service is projected onto a screen in the sanctuary.
Worship is about gathering with our brothers and sisters, uniting with the God who creates and loves us, and celebrating the means of grace that God shares with us. If you have any questions about our variety of worship services, please contact at us
